Grandma spent our happy day working for her co-worker Kathy so Kathy could have the day off. I'll bet Kathy was happy. Granddad wrote checks for his helpers at work. One of them noted that the raise she had gotten last pay period wasn't reflected on the current paycheck. When Granddad had noted the error, still unsure how, he had written a new check for the corrected amount. Now whether doing the payroll, which always makes the employees happy, and which is needed, really constitutes what Zachary intended in doing something for someone to make them happy, I'll let him judge.
